If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.
Because we believe that a consultation (or pre-surgery evaluation) guarantees a better overall experience for our patients, we do require a separate exam appointment before the day of your surgery. This allows the surgeon to provide a comprehensive assessment of your medical needs, a plan for the actual surgical procedure, pre- and post-operative instructions, as well as a discussion of financial expectations. Implant and orthognathic patients may need several appointments to produce the best results. Only on very rare occasions do our surgeons allow surgery to be performed on the same day as their consultation. We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Due to the fact that our surgeons provide many types of dental services, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergency cases can also arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
